When you submit an enquiry via our website, we ask you for your name and email address so that we can respond to your query.
We may also email you after the initial enquiry in order to follow up on your interest and ensure that we have addressed it to your satisfaction. We do this based on our legitimate interest of providing accurate information prior to a sale.
Your enquiry is stored and processed as an email, and logged on a CRM system.
We do not use the information you provide to make automated decisions that might affect you. We do not use the information you supply for marketing purposes or share with any third parties unless we are required to by law.

When you submit a request to book a consultation via our website, we ask you for your name and email address so that we can respond to your query.

Information we collect if you choose to work with us
If you choose to work with us, Emma Pooley Therapy requires some basic information from you in order for therapeutic services to be provided. All information is collected and stored in accordance with GDPR.
We collect contact information for you and your nominated emergency contact, details of your GP (if you have one), details of any prescribed and non-prescribed medication, a brief case history and your presenting issue(s) [the issue/s that brought you to therapy].
We are required to keep brief notes of each session for insurance purposes, as well as an attendance log. All written case notes are kept securely and an individual ID code is assigned to each client.
We collect this information: in order to perform the contract between us; where it is necessary for our legitimate interests, and where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.
You have the right to see the information held about you (a “subject access request”), and requests should be made in writing. You will receive a response within one month.
We will always respect your privacy and if we decide to work together following a consultation, Emma Pooley Therapy will keep your specific attendance to sessions confidential.
